Her Story

A female fruit fly brain, a token launch, and a house of her own.

She is a sister build of FLYBRAIN, the open-source male fruit-fly-brain project by @fruitflydev. We used its repository for her token launch on Robinhood Chain through the pons launchpad, and sent fixes upstream.

Her brain is the FlyWire FAFB v783 female connectome: 139,255 neurons, released under CC-BY. Dorkenwald et al. 2024 (Nature) and Schlegel et al. 2024 (Nature) describe the work. The two builds are siblings.
